About Ms. Okland:This is Mrs. Gilder's 33rd year at Lone Rock School. She graduated from the University of Montana in 1977 and started working at Lone Rock that fall. Questions and Answers:What are the highlights of your school year?
What are the interesting projects your class works on?Creating and launching our hot air balloons is always a favorite activity. Students also enjoy collecting river and pond water samples and then identifying the numerous organisms found in the water. The unit on rocks in the spring has also been very popular. This year the students will have a chance to hunt for sapphires. In computers the students enjoy making videos and working on their claymation projects. What is the best part of teaching at Lone Rock? Why do you like teaching here?I love the small school atmosphere, the students, parents and community. |
