Greetings from the Technology Lab.
We have a great new Free Computer program ready to go. Lone Rock School has about 30 used computers we will be giving away to residents of the school district. These are machines that we have used in the school, but are extra machines that need new homes. They would make fine workstations for students and parents who need a basic computer. They are internet-ready. Every machine comes with a monitor, mouse and keyboard - everything you need to get started.

In addition, Microsoft allows us to load Microsoft Windows 2000 and Microsoft Office 2000 on any machine we give to a student who qualifies for the free-reduced lunch program. If you have applied for free-reduced lunches in the past, but did not qualify, we encourage you to apply again. The income requirements have changed, and you might now qualify.

For more information on this program or any issue or concern regarding technology at the school, call Mr. Singley, Systems Administrator, at 370 3876, or email nsingley@lonerockschool.org.
