Parents and Guardians, The Lone Rock school teachers and administration have been reviewing English language arts curriculum all school year and we have arrived on a product and program that we feel meets the standards needs for our students and community here in Stevensville. We are now moving into the period where parents and community members may come into the school and review the samples that we have. The ELA curriculum materials will be available for review to parents and community members beginning on Monday April 22, 2024 and will conclude on Friday May 10th. At that point we will be taking the recommendation to the Lone Rock School board for adoption at the May 21, 2024 board meeting. The district has selected IReady Reading and Magnetic Reading as the final curriculum and recommendation to adopt. The samples are in the school and ready for review. If you are interested in reviewing materials please let the office know ahead of time, as well as Mr. DoBell. Below is a link to more general information online about IReady and Magnetic Reading: https://www.curriculumassociates.com/programs/i-ready-learning/magnetic Thank you, -Robert DoBell Superintendent (406) 777-3314

Dear Parents, Our Middle School Science fair is fastly approaching. Students have completed their research papers and should be conducting their experiments this week. Students are welcome to do their experiments at school if they do not have a suitable place at home. On Monday the 26th students will need to have their test results and conclusion completed. Students should also bring their backboards to class. For interested students, time will be given in class for them to work on their backboards. If students prefer to work on their backboards at home, please send your student to school with a note or send me an email to let me know that they are working on them. Our students will present their projects on March 1st. Parents will be able to come and view projects in the evening on March 1st from 5-6:30pm in the MPR. Please reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns. Sincerely, Allen Camp Middle School Science Teacher acamp@lonerockschool.org
