The Lone Rock School will be interviewing the three finalists for the open 2024-2025 Elementary Principal position on Monday March 25th, Ryan Hamilton, Shelby Murphy, and Teresa Weems. Parents and community members are encouraged participate in the meet and greet that will take place on Monday March 25th from 5-6pm in the Multi-Purpose Room. The Lone Rock School would like to host the winter sports banquet on Thursday March 21st from 6:00-7:30pm in the lunchroom to honor our boys and girls basketball players as well as our cheerleaders.
The school will provide pizza and water, parents if you could bring a dessert to share that would be great.

The Lone Rock School will be hosting K-Ready and Kindergarten Registration on Friday April 5th from 9-12pm in the Gym of the school. The Lone Rock Elementary school will have 2 K-Ready (4 year old Kindergarten) classrooms and 2 Kindergarten classrooms for the 24-25 SY. Dear Parents,
Our Middle School Science fair is fastly approaching. Students have completed their research papers and should be conducting their experiments this week. Students are welcome to do their experiments at school if they do not have a suitable place at home.
On Monday the 26th students will need to have their test results and conclusion completed. Students should also bring their backboards to class. For interested students, time will be given in class for them to work on their backboards. If students prefer to work on their backboards at home, please send your student to school with a note or send me an email to let me know that they are working on them.
Our students will present their projects on March 1st. Parents will be able to come and view projects in the evening on March 1st from 5-6:30pm in the MPR.

The Lone Rock School will be closed today Friday due to blowing and drifting snow and extreme cold. School will resume on Tuesday of next week January 16th. Stay warm......

Tomorrow is predicted to be very cold. Please send your son/daughter with cold weather gear so that they can make their way inside in the morning. Drop Off will be inside the school tomorrow. Elementary will be in the MPR Middle School will be in the gym.
