All about Halloween at Lone Rock
We are so excited for Halloween at Lone Rock! Here are some school-wide expectations for K-8.
Costumes
All costumes need to be school appropriate. Masks and/or any kind of weapons are not allowed. Your child is welcome to come to school with their costume on. However, if your child plans to put on their costume at school instead, they must be able to put on the costume independently.
Events
Halloween Carnival - On Friday, October 28th, there will be a Halloween carnival sponsored by PTM. It will be in the Gym from 6-8pm. All proceeds will benefit the teachers, as each teacher will run a booth to benefit their classroom. It should be a really fun time!
Costume Parade - On Monday, October 31st, there will be a costume parade in the morning. Parents are welcome to line the sidewalks outside between the elementary and middle school, and students will start the parade at 8:40am. Classrooms will have a lot going on, so please stay outside and wait for the parade to start.
Help Needed
Want to help our classroom this Halloween? We are in need of bags of candy! Any kind, any size. Thank you so much for helping our class!
Congratulations to our elementary Rocket Pride Winners of the week! They were recognized by their class for following all of our expectations in being great students!

Parents, Guardians, and the Lone Rock Community….
The Bitterroot Valley Education Co-Op will be hosting child find for those elementary students that may qualify to attend their special education pre-school program. The Lone Rock community is included with the Stevensville screening date of Friday November 4, 2022.
If another date for screening is better for your family you are welcome to attend a different day as well.

Picture day is Wednesday, September 21st. Purchasing a picture packet is optional. If you would like to have your preschooler (that does not attended Lone Rock) photographed, those pictures will be taken between 8:00 and 8:30am in the elementary multi-purpose room.

If you need another copy please see Marcia or Mandy in the office! This year we will be charging for meals. The prices are as follows:
