The University of Montana- Spectrum will be at the Lone Rock School for an evening of hands on Family Science on Thursday April 27, 2022 from 5-7pm in the MPR! See you there!

We wanted to take a moment to say thank you to the Stevensville High School administration for coming out to Lone Rock to talk with our 8th graders about transition to high school next year! Parents course selection paperwork for them will be coming home today! GO JACKETS!!

Picture day is Wednesday, April 19th, 2023. We will be taking group class pictures as well as the (optional) fun individual pictures. You can personalize your spring portraits with a favorite hat, stuffed animal or with a special friend. (Limit 3) If you have students/siblings in different classes who wish to be photographed together, those pictures will be taken from 7:45 – 8:15 AM. We take the pictures outside if it’s not pouring rain so please dress appropriately. PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU PURCHASE BOTH A PICTURE PACKAGE AND A CLASS PICTURE YOU MUST WRITE SEPARATE CHECKS and return each payment in the order envelopes provided for each student. Payment in full is due at the time your child is photographed. Please mark your calendars and if you have any questions, let us know. Thank you!

Please join me in thanking our Kindergarten and K-Ready teachers for their efforts today during Kindergarten registration for the 23-24 school year! They did a great job welcoming our future youngest students to the Lone Rock School today! THANK YOU!

Today the county will be mailing out ballots for the election of school board trustees and the operational levy proposed by the school district. This is a mail-in ballot so ballots must be mailed back in or dropped off at the county office in Hamilton. If you have any questions in regards to the levy or the election, please contact the district office at 406-777-3314.

Parents, The Middle School Concert will be Tuesday April 4th at 7pm! This is the last concert of the year for middle school students, and they are required to attend! Middle School Parents and Guardians we appreciate all your hard work that you have done to help your students be prepared for this week's science fair on Friday, February 24th. This is a big part of your child's science grade. The Science Fair will be open to the public from 5 pm until 7pm on Friday.

Congratulations to Aleyah and Eleanor as they represented the Lone Rock School at the Ravalli County Spelling Bee last night! They did an awesome job! Aleyah placed 4th in the county! Great job, and GO ROCKETS!!!!
